Accommodation in the Phi Phi Islands! The most special trip of our lives, as it was our honeymoon. The islands are an earthly paradise and not unjustly so. Blue waters, white sand, and tropical vegetation are some of the elements that compose the idyllic landscape. Full of enthusiasm, we booked our airline tickets, and the next step was accommodation. The islands are not large, and there were many options. We were looking for something impressive because of the exotic destination we had chosen, but at the same time, for the cost to be within reasonable limits. In our short article below, we will explain which accommodation combines the two elements above and why we distinguished it from the rest.

Location
Bayview Resort was probably the best choice of accommodation we have ever made on our travels so far. It is located on the south coast of the island, on the quiet slope of a hill, above Laem Hin beach. The distance from the shops and restaurants of the island is only a 10-minute walk, away from the hustle and bustle of the center, but at the same time close to it.
For us, this route was a worthy morning walk after breakfast and the best way to end the day. As we were strolling through the island’s local market, we enjoyed the aromas of the restaurants, wandered through the stalls, and absorbed the leisurely rhythms of locals and tourists.
The beautiful tropical landscape won us over at first glance. This feature surrounds the bungalows, offering us peace and tranquility in our accommodation. An experience we sought out for our journey. The pleasant route to our room combined a large bluff of trees’ shades, gardens, and alleys between the rooms.

Combined with the tropical nature, the view of the Andaman Sea with its turquoise, calm waters added the ultimate relaxed atmosphere to our vacation. From our balcony, we also enjoyed the view of the imposing rock formations of Tonsai Bay.
Facilities
Our room was spotless and bright due to its large windows. There was daily room cleaning, and the lovely staff left flowers and towels on the bed in various formations, like mini elephants. The mattress was very comfortable, and the air conditioning and Wi-Fi were satisfactory. There was also a free transfer from Tonsai Harbor to the room and vice versa, upon arrival and departure on the longboat.

Leaving catering services for last, we want to say we looked forward to the resort breakfast every single morning. The variety of the buffet was the largest we have encountered at hotel breakfasts, and everything was delicious. From fresh fruits such as pineapple and watermelon to various breads, salads, traditional foods, and freshly squeezed juices. Our plates were full every morning, and we chose to sit on the balcony tables and enjoy our breakfast with the calm view of the island. Also, one night, we chose to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, The Bay, at tables on the soft beach sand, under the soft candlelight.
All of the above definitely contributed to a positive impression of accommodation in the Phi Phi Islands, and we would choose the very same hotel again!
