For those looking to save time and energy (like us because we had also a stroller with us), the Funicular Railway provides a convenient and scenic ascent to Ljubljana Castle. It’s particularly helpful for tackling the uphill journey, which can be more demanding. Once at the castle, you can leisurely wander through its captivating attractions, and when you’re ready to descend, a pleasant walk downhill offers the opportunity to soak in the charm of Ljubljana’s Old City at your own pace.
